Exchange Agreements with Universities in Many Countries |

In order to promote active international exchange with overseas universities
and to develop these exchange with detail and precision, KIT has established
agreements for scholastic exchange with universities in Asia, the United
States, and Europe. The various ongoing exchange activities with these
universities include mutual exchange of academic staff and students as
well as sharing of research results, activities that are yielding sure
and steady benefits to all involved. |

In recent years, there has been growing regard for Japan as an international
nation as well as growing expectations
of Japan. One of the most notable areas of internationalization is that
of education --- student exchanges that promote mutual understanding of
different cultures and build friendships among people from all over the
world.
KIT is also actively involved in international student exchange. Thus far,
students from throughout Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa,
representing more than 20 countries, are studying at KIT. |

Today, the promotion of international scholastic exchange is a very important topic for all universities. Each year, many lecturers from KIT participate in overseas conferences, symposiums, etc., to make presentations about their research. Our university also welcomes foreign lecturers and invites researchers from other countries to hold lectures and seminars at the university.
