As the literal center of the university, the hall was designed with a variety
of devices and considerations regarding its surface and structure to ensure
that it would satisfy a multifaceted range of functional needs. The building
has a solemn atmosphere that befits the university while having a unique
charm all its own.
The hall makes a significant contribution to academic research within and without the university as well as to improvement in education by functioning first as a site for all types of school ceremonies and events, and also for a variety of academic conferences, special lectures, speeches and public seminars. |
