Highly advanced facility for advanced research. To achieve those purposes, five projects were proposed. 1) New development of effective usage of function of insects. 2) Virtual Product Design and Japanese Manufacturing. 3) STC (Science Technology and Commercialization). 4) Research for the production of sustainable products. 5) The researches concerning seven areas emphasized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Graduate students and post doctoral research associates engage in these projects. VL provides four MOT (Management of Technology) lectures by collaborating with ASTEM (Advanced Software Technology & Mechatronics Research Institute of Kyoto).
