Chinese and Japanese KIT Student Volunteers Contribute to Sichuan Earthquake

Chinese and Japanese student volunteers of KIT collected donations for survivors of the Shichuan Earthquake from May 31, KIT Foundation Day, to June 6th. Students placed donation boxes around the campus, drew attention to collection areas and explained the need for charity. Results equaled efforts and on June 20, KIT representative Xia Zhichen traveled to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Osaka to entrust funds with officials and ask that they be used for disaster relief.
