KIT participated in the Japan-China University Fair and Forum which was held in Tokyo January 29 and 30.
Thirty-eight Chinese and forty-nine Japanese universities took part in this public relations and information exchange which was the first attempt at a large-scale exchange of information between our two countries. The fair featured the latest information on university programs, undertakings and cooperative research.
The KIT booth displayed panels in Chinese and English outlining our unique research projects and characteristic educational projects. Many visitors were drawn to our booth where we made large numbers of informative brochures and fliers available.
Of the six Chinese universities with which KIT has academic exchange agreements, Donghua University, Soochow University and the School of Media and Design at Shanghai Jiao Tong University also had booths at this fair. We were pleased to be able to have meaningful exchange for further cooperation at this neutral setting.
