Between August 8th and 10th, we confirmed that 4 more KIT students (2 undergraduate and 2 graduate students) were suspected of infection bringing our total to 5. They are now recovering at home.
KIT policy regarding H1N1 infection is as follows:
1- University groups (labs, clubs, offices, lectures) with several symptomatic individuals suspected of H1N1 infection are requested to voluntarily restrict activity.
2- Groups with several H1N1 diagnosed individuals will be asked to cease activity/close until further notice.
At present, no KIT group has been ordered to close. All events and summer intensive lectures will continue as scheduled. We ask that students and faculty remain alert to the possibility of infection, maintain healthy lifestyles and check this website for future updates.
