Important Notice (No.7):ALL classes have been canceled from May 22 through May 27
due to the confirmation of the first case of the new type of influenza in Kyoto City

Due to the confirmation of the first case of person infected with the new type of influenza A(H1N1) virus in Kyoto city, KIT has taken the step of canceling all classes from Friday, May 22 through Wednesday, May 27, by request of Kyoto Prefecture and the Kyoto City governments.

This cancellation aims to prevent viruses from spreading on campus and local community, by reducing chances for the viruses to be transmitted by close contact in the classrooms and on the campus.

Students are strongly encouraged to stay at home and study for themselves during the period of class cancellation.

All students are requested to continue to check the university’s website for new information.
