Important Notice (No.8):
Regarding Class and Other Cancellations

Due to the confirmation of the first case of person infected with the new type of influenza A(H1N1) virus in Kyoto city on May 21, KIT has taken the step of canceling all classes from Friday, May 22 through Wednesday, May 27, by request of Kyoto Prefecture and the Kyoto City governments.

Graduate and undergraduate students are expected to stay at home throughout the class cancellation period.

- Do not come to campus unless it is absolutely unavoidable.

- All club, circle and sports team activities are prohibited for the duration of the class cancellation period.

- The library and the Museum and Archives will be closed from May 22 through 27.
