President Supachai Samappito and his delegation from Mahasarakham University, Kingdom of Thailand honored KIT with a courtesy call on September 14, 2011. We took this opportunity to renew the partner agreement Mahasarakham University and KIT signed in 2001. Since the first agreement we have engaged in collaborative research, primarily in sericulture science and applied entomology.
On the occasion of this visit, President Yoshimichi Ejima and the Thai delegation exchanged opinions regarding future academic collaboration. This was followed by a discussion session during which Vice President Furuyama, who also serves as the director of the International Exchange Center, outlined the main focuses of KIT and encouraged a lively exchange of opinions.
We anticipate that this visit will serve as another valuable step towards academic and student exchange as well as serving to further mutual development |
