President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi visited President Furuyama

President Sakarindr Bhumiratana of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), visited Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT) on September 30th, 2016.
KMUTT and KIT signed an inter-university exchange agreement in 2003 and have been actively implementing student exchange as well as joint research, focusing on design, architeture and mechanical engineering. The two universities have also been working on establishing a KIT hub within KMUTT.
During the meeting with President Furuyama, on top of their respective research and student exchange, they also exchanged views on the summer camp for KIT undergraduates, initiated this year, as well as the potential of joint research and reconfirmed their intent to actively continue their exchange activities.
