International Affairs

International Affairs is subdivided into the two sections outlined below to efficiently plan and coordinate international lectures, conferences and exchange. It also provides practical support to international students and scholars as they live and study in Kyoto.

Academic Alliances

coordinates academic collaboration agreements, the exchange of scholars, international symposia and seminars. This section is also responsible for international public relations activities.

Student Exchange Services

offers support services for international students and is responsible for student exchange programs and international graduate follow-up. Specific help is available regarding:

• Immigration and insurance applications
• Scholarships, housing information, social events, tutoring
• Counseling for international students studying at KIT
• Counseling on study abroad programs
