Former student visits KIT after 40 years

Former student from Thailand Mr. VICHAI CHAIYADHIROJ visited KIT after 40 years and had a meeting with President Furuyama, on October 20th, 2016.
Mr. VICHAI CHAIYADHIROJ, who visited together with his family, graduated the faculty of Engineering and Design, Department of Electrical Engineering in 1976; after that he worked until retirement in a famous Japanese company in Thailand.

Together with his family, he walked around the campus after 40 years, accompanied by Thai students of KIT. Mr. VICHAI CHAIYADHIROJ took a tour at the new for him Museum and Archives and recalled his student days nostalgically looking at the Administration building, which remains the same.
During his meeting with President Furuyama, they talked about Mr. CHAIYADHIROJ’s memories, his job as well as the current situation in Thailand. President Furuyama invited him to the alumni reunion in Thailand.

KIT feels most honored by cases such as this, having old students revisiting and remembering their time at the university and will keep striving in order to make itself more and more attractive for all students.
