Academic exchange agreement with Thailand’s Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi renewed.

On March 27, 2017, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) and KIT renewed the academic exchange agreement as well as the Memorandum of Understanding regarding student exchange, between the two universities. RMUTT’s President Prasert Pinpathomrat and his delegation visited President Furuyama and attended the signing ceremony, which was held at KIT.

This is the second renewal of the agreement between the two institutions, which was first concluded in 2006, with close cooperation and exchange of students and researchers mainly in the fields of textile and composite materials. In the past 12 years, the two universities have deepened their relationship not only through exchanges between students and researchers, but also by jointly holding the environment and material science related international conference “EMSES” as well as by establishing KIT’s first overseas office within RMUTT. At the signing ceremony, the two institutions mutually reconfirmed their intent to accelerate exchange in various fields and promote student exchange even more than before.
