Agreement regarding overseas internship project signed with Ayabe Industrial Park Promotion Center and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi

On June 1st, 2017 (Thu), Kyoto Institute of Technology, Ayabe Industrial Park Promotion Center and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), entered into an agreement for the joint implementation of an overseas internship project between Japan and Thailand.

In the signing ceremony held at KMUTT’s KX Building in Bangkok, KIT President Furuyama, the President of Ayabe Industrial Park Promotion Center, Mr. Yoshiaki Suwa, and KMUTT President Sakarindr Bhumiratana, reconfirmed the three-party collaborative relationship and executed the agreement under the presence of Mr. Zenya Yamazaki, Mayor of Ayabe City, who participated as a witness.

Based on this agreement, in October of this year, students of KIT and KMUTT will do internships in Thailand at local subsidiaries of the Promotion Center’s member companies. Prior to this, and for three days from June 12, KMUTT’s students will make a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Ayabe City and visit member companies of the Ayabe Industrial Park Promotion Center.
