Agreement on academic exchange with National Taiwan University of Science and Technology

On August 20, President Morisako and his delegation visited the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) in Taipei and held the signing ceremony of an Agreement on academic exchange.

Taiwan Tech has been actively promoting internationalization and significant exchange is anticipated for both institutions in common fields such as Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, which led to the signing of a definitive agreement.

Student exchange between the two universities had already started even before the conclusion of the agreement, with students from both universities participating in their respective summer programs. Moving forward, intensive courses by KIT faculty at Taiwan Tech are being planned and further collaboration on joint research is expected to take place.
