Re: Alert] Thorough Prevention of the Spread of Novel Coronavirus

The number of new positive cases of novel coronavirus in Kyoto Prefecture is rapidly increasing. We ask that you consider receiving a third dose of the vaccine and that asymptomatic persons who are concerned about infection receive a medical examination before returning to family homes during Obon/summer vacation.
In addition, note that there is concern about the spread of infection in indoor facilities, homes, and places where people eat and drink while engaging in conversation, due to the increased movement of people in those situations. We ask that you continue to observe basic infection prevention measures and act responsibly. Please check the recently updated KIT and government instructions once again. In particular, be sure to pay attention to the following:

  1. Wear a mask when talking
  2. When observing infection control measures, take action to avoid heat stroke.
  3. Refrain from going to public areas unnecessarily if you are recuperating at home or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive.
