On July 10, 2023, Vice President Prof. GAO Zhengrong from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University (China) and his delegation visited KIT and met with Vice President Prof. KAMEI Kaeko and Prof. YOKOYAMA Atsushi, Faculty of Fiber Science and Engineering. Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and KIT have a long history of partnership based on the academic exchange agreement concluded in 2003. Since then, the two universities have been continuously conducting student and research exchange activities, mainly in the field of textiles, based on their common textile roots.
　During their visit, the delegation toured KIT laboratories and held a meeting between the Vice Presidents. They exchanged views on the possibility of multinational collaboration inviting other universities and confirmed their intent to further deepen cooperation toward new exchange activities, involving the younger faculty of KIT.
