On October 2, 2023, Prof. Peyman SALEHI, Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, paid a courtesy visit to the KIT President.
Deputy Minister SALEHI, who visited KIT with a delegation including the President of Arak University, met with President MORISAKO and Vice President for Internationalization Prof. KAMEI. They confirmed the historically friendly relationship between Japan and Iran, and exchanged opinions on the status of Iranian students studying at KIT. After the meeting, they visited the KYOTO Design Lab and a chemistry laboratory, expressing a keen interest in the state of KIT’s research and collaboration with overseas universities.
