Chiang Mai University Vice President and his delegation visit KIT President

On February 6, 2024, a delegation from Thailand’s Chiang Mai University (CMU), including Vice-President Ekkachai Mahaek, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apichoke Lekagul and the key faculty members in charge of the Joint Degree Program, paid a courtesy visit to KIT President Morisako. Since the conclusion of the KIT-CMU Academic Exchange Agreement in 2005, the two universities have continued to cooperate closely in student and researcher exchanges, mainly through joint architectural workshops and in 2017 established Japan’s first Master’s Joint Degree Program.
In light of the steady progress of the Joint Degree Program, the CMU delegation together with President Morisako, Trustee & Vice President Yoshimoto and Vice President Kamei, reaffirmed their intent to maintain cordial relations. They also confirmed their willingness to actively consider cooperation in other fields, such as a medical-engineering collaboration, leveraging their respective strengths.
