To All Graduates and Parents,

Re: Cancellation of the Kyoto Institute of Technology Degree Awarding Ceremony

　Following previous announcement regarding the Degree Awarding Ceremony of Kyoto Institute of Technology, communicated on February 27, 2020, it has been decided that the Degree Awarding Ceremony will not take place.

　Kyoto Institute of Technology had requested that parents and guests refrain from joining the ceremony and has been considering the implementation of the event provided that sufficient measures against the coronavirus disease have been taken. However, ensuring the safety of our graduates and preventing the spread of the infection had to be our highest priority. We appreciate your understanding on this painful decision.

　Details on how to receive the degree will be announced separately on the Student Information Portal.

The announcement of the President will be posted on the website.
