【Urgent Communication】
Re: Cancellation of Orientation for New Spring Semester Students and International Students & Postponement of the Annual Student Physical Examination

　This evening, in light of the requests from Kyoto City and Kyoto Prefecture and the response of nearby universities, in order to prevent further infection of the coronavirus disease, Kyoto Institute of Technology decided to cancel the orientation for new spring semester students and the orientation for international students and to postpone the physical examination as　well as the information literacy guidance for undergraduate students.

　Accordingly, only issue of necessary documents (student cards etc.) will take place, for students who can ensure their safe access to the campus. For dates and times, please refer to the below “Events at the beginning of the school year (as of April 3, 2020)” (PDF).

　For new students who cannot come to the university, documents will be sent by post.

　The course registration period is also expected to change in the future. Any changes will be posted on the university homepage, as needed.
