From: President Kiyotaka Morisako
To: All Students

Yesterday, the Japanese Government declared a state of emergency with regard to Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Osaka, Hyogo and Fukuoka, where COVID-19 infection is relatively high. Students who live in these seven prefectures should refrain from coming to KIT until their local governments lift the “request for residents to restrict their movements.”
KIT will implement special measures for students who cannot attend classes during this period and will inform students who are unable to attend the following, at a later date, regarding alternative training and medical exam dates.
・ Education and Training on the Safe Handling of Radioisotopes
・ Education and Training on the Safe Handling of On-campus X-ray Equipment
・ Special Medical Examinations for Students Working with Radiation
・ Special Medical Examinations for Students Conducting Genetic Modification Research
