The KIT International Center will hold a week-long event for students interested in studying abroad. You can get information about various programs, interact with KIT international students and get answers to specific questions! This week will be your first big step in exploring the world! Bring your friends and enjoy the campus-wide events and displays. Free admission! No reservation needed!

KIT provides a wide variety of study abroad programs ranging from language focused ones open to students from any major, to those that involve specific research laboratories and academic fields. This information session gives an overview of all KIT study abroad programs.

One of the students will speak about her experience of studying in Switzerland, which was supported by the Japanese government’s “TOBITATE! Young Ambassador Program.*”
*TOBITATE! Funding is only available to Japanese nationals.
We will provide vital information on how to stay safe in various countries. Prepare for your study abroad experience by having accurate, up to date information before you travel. Participation in this session is highly recommended to faculty and staff who are involved in sending students abroad.

It’s a café where you can talk about studying abroad. Three students who have studied abroad will be ready and waiting for you to come have a chat over a cup of coffee with them. How did they make up their mind to study abroad? How did the experience influence their life after they came back to Japan?
Come and ask them anything about being a student in other country.
In addition, at Plaza KIT, posters on various study abroad programs created by students will be posted on the wall throughout the week. In these posters, you will see beautiful pictures of the countries they went to, as well as their straight-forward thoughts and opinions about the program.

Did you know that KIT offers international cooperative graduate degree programs with partner universities abroad? Through these programs, you will have an opportunity to learn at both universities and obtain one or even two degrees.

Currently, there are three programs running. Academic staff of both partner universities and KIT will provide information on these programs. In addition, an alumnus who completed the Joint Degree program will talk about what he experienced and how he built his career path.
