Response to lifting of Kyoto Prefecture’s state of emergency measures

　On May 21, the government changed the areas where state of emergency measures should be implemented, and Kyoto Prefecture’s state of emergency was lifted. However, Kyoto Prefecture has announced policies regarding the lifting of the state of emergency and has requested that universities resume their activities upon putting together manuals for preventing the spread of the infection.
　Accordingly, Kyoto Institute of Technology will continue the measures announced in our “Response to Kyoto Prefecture’s state of emergency measures” below (suspension of window-services, working from home etc.) until May 31 as scheduled.
　Measures starting from June 1 will be announced at a later date.
　We ask for your continued cooperation in making sure to avoid the “3Cs” (Confined spaces, Crowded places, Close contact), to wear a mask and to wash your hands frequently, in order to protect your own health and at the same time prevent the spread of the infection to others.
