Re: Postponement of the first day of the spring semester classes in 2020

　In order to prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), Kyoto Institute of Technology has decided to postpone the first day of the spring semester classes in 2020.

　As of now, classes will begin from April 13. However it may be further postponed depending on the future developments. (Details will be posted on the university’s homepage within March).

　Annual physical examination for students will take place after April 7. (Details regarding time and place will be posted on the university’s homepage within March).

　Due to the postponement of the classes, activities in the laboratories are also prohibited until April 12 in principle.

　It does not hinder or prevent the minimum number of the necessary activities such as maintenance of cultured cells, experimental animals and laboratory equipment.
